The blade is of medium stiffness--steel is not only durable cut capable of surviving great stresses and keeping its form, not go wayward like the Chinese blade. Comes complete and fully assembled-35 inch blade (adult size #5 only) with electric point, light weight aluminum guard, epee socket with rubber ball that holds the body cord inside the socket and prevents it from coming out during the bout; felt thumb pad; aluminum pistol grip, and an aluminum pistol grip nut. You have to adjust the travel (shims) and weight by yourself. Blade is a Russian-made with mark FIE and "N"--ALLOWED FOR ANY INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION.
